The Words
My first play, Yossels Music was produced by Studio 58 in 1983 and was listed as "best bet of the week" by the Vancouver Province. Lautrec, a monodrama, that focussed on two days in the life of the artist, was mounted successfully several times and toured my native province of British Columbia. Delimax, produced by Western Washington University,
was a regional winner and finalist in the ACTF.
All of my other adult works have been given staged readings or workshops by the Playwright's Theatre Centre, (formerly the New Play
Center) of Vancouver.
I have been a theatre arts teacher for 34 years. My works for children and mime and mask plays have all derived from the classroom
and have had successful productions.
